good article... enough to stimulate one's imagination. stuffed parathas can also be an option, with fillings like aloo, paneer, peas, grated radish or corrots to choose from. chutney or sauce can be smeared on it and the paratha rolled for easy eating, esp. for primary schoolers

i live in uae my son is going to kg.i have few more choices for the parents who are upset with this article. i pack variety of foods in lunch box with 3 small partitions. so as if de dont like one he can eat other food.i am just writing about my opinion choce is urs. 1.u can give digestive or any biscuits, or wafers,2 or 3 fruit slices dipped in orange juice so as it dose not turn black or shrink.and a tetra pack of milk or juice. 2.u can make rice pulao for kids with vareity of vegetables.at the end finish it with lil gravy or curd so that it becomes lil smooth for baby to eat. 3.u can make aluu tikkkies and can keep it in bread instead of bun as it is very difficult for babies to eat by themselves.u can cut this alu tikki sandvich in finger size with kitchen sissors. 4. u can make pasta or atta noodles {which are broken in fine small pieces} with vegetables. 5.ya of course u can give, puries, stuffed pranthas,or french fries,or pakodas, dosas, dry gulab jamuns, mathis, matries, cake slices, etc etc. we have alot of food varity it depends on babies choice baby should eat atleast thts the main thing. nutrition is necesarry but it can b taken care of afternoon meals or at dinner.enjoy meals with ur babies.
